Occasionally Dean and I try to spend one on one time with the kids. Last week Dean took Paige out on a date. He gave her a few choices of what they could do. She was so excited to put on her cute dress and let me fix her crazy hair. Dean brought home flowers and she just grinned from ear to ear. It was precious. I am so thankful that my hubby is such an amazing dad. I think its so important for girls especially to have good daddy time, they will one day be looking for a husband with the qualities of their dads. The dad is who they learn from, where they figure out how they should be treated, how they should be loved. We always tell Paige and Kade that their hearts should belong to Jesus and then mom and dad....until they marry. Here is a really cute pic of Dean and Paige.
Love it! Taylor and Lance do this too. He once took her to a UT/LSU basketball playoff game at the Toyota Center. They got all dressed up and went to a fancy dinner before the game and they had court side seats so she felt extra special to be there with her daddy instead of him asking a buddy to go!
