Dean read the Bible to the kids and I last night and it is always a challenge to keep Trace quiet and still during this time. He kinda runs around the room, playing with his cars and making crash sounds. I am never sure if he hears anything we talk about but apparently he does.....
Romans 12:9-13 reads-"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
So Dean is walking through each verse, making sure the kids know what the words mean, like zeal, fervor, and hospitality......he tells them what it means to be hospitable and out of nowhere....Trace says, " Jesus is thirsty so he needs a popsicle cause he's thirsty". hospitable/popsicle?? We all laughed and laughed.
