Good Friday Camping!

Our family and a few others packed up this long weekend and headed camping. Our friends found a really neat place just up the road in New Caney. Yall should check it out! It's called Lake Houston Wilderness Park. It was really clean, had a tons of trails, a little creek to swim in, and a nature center with animals and facts about critters around these parts. It was a really great time and it was a good time to focus on what this past weekend really means, the death, burial, and resurrection of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Here are some pics....

We actually had to set up Thur. night and spray our tent down to let it air out. (shoo wee)

We drove 30 min home, got up Friday morning and headed back over there.

The lack of sleep, layer of dust all over my body, mosquito bites, sharing a full size blow up matress with my hubby, and the few run in's with snakes was all worth making memories with my family and friends!
