Nuggets I'd Like to Share

I am doing a Bible study called Conversation Peace with a couple of girls that I love. There were some things that I read today that I want to share. GOOD STUFF!

Truth-the opposite of deceit-guards our hearts and minds from being misled. It purifies and keeps the soil of our heart pure. That's why it is so important to make sure our thoughts are based on truth and that we sow seeds of truth in our heart on an ongoing basis. Without truth we trip and fall. John 17:17 "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth."

Second Corinthians 10:5 says that taking our thoughts captive means tucking them firmly under the belt of truth. It means believing what God says and rejecting all other thoughts.

I just love God's Word! I do!
