John and Cindy, some of our best friends, were the first to visit!
They used to live around these parts so off we went on a short, 15 minute short, drive to Canyon Lake. I have never seen a lake this blue! It was so beautiful and as you can see in the pics, windy!
Here is our little "guest suite".
As we all waited anxiously for them to get here, my kids made them Welcome signs.
Some in the room, some on the front door...
they were almost as excited as me. :)
John and Dean-they are so cute!
John is kinda like a brother to me. I like to hug his neck then
punch him in the shoulder...ya know. :) He and Dean couldn't be closer
friends! I love that for my man.

She is such a special girl!
I love when we are hangin out and she says "what else, let's talk, what do you wanna talk about?"
I can tell her anything, and she listens and gives me good Godly advice, always.
(Cindy-we need to plan our girls weekend!)
We haven't had one weekend with out visitors!
It's really fun to live in a place where people want to come!

I love when folks leave comments on my blog and so I want to make sure I return the favor friend! I hope that we get to visit soon. What is with plans always getting delayed again and again? No worries, we always follow through at some point! And when I come you have to take me for BBQ b/c it is pretty much my most favorite food ever....well, behind all breakfast food. I love me some breakfast.
